IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• By purchasing a standard ticket you are acknowledging you are an NAF registered member. Non-NAF members can still purchase tickets but will need to register with the NAF, which can be done on the day for £5.

• Deadline to purchase tickets to this tournament is midnight September 7th.
• Tickets are non-refundable.
• £5 of your ticket price goes towards the prize fund.

Game 1: 09:30 - 12:00

Lunch: 12:00 - 12:45

Game 2: 12:45 - 15:15

Game 3: 15:30 - 1800

Round Setup:

All rounds will last a maximum of 2 hours and 30 mins and will be called by the referee should that time expire. If you or an official think that your game will not be completed within that time a time clock will be enforced and we recommend downloading one for your phone beforehand (the BB coach assistant app has one built in).

Venue Information

Socialdice is a 10 minute walk from Swansea train station and there are a number of car parks in the area. The closest car park is The Strand Car Park, SA1 2AE which is £5 for 5-24 hours. Socialdice serves hot and cold refreshments and snacks, and is partnered with Pinatas Burrito Bar which serves delicious Mexican food straight to your gaming table.

Ruleset

The latest GW ruleset will be used along with the latest spike. All teams approved by the NAF are allowed, including Slann. The Slann team rules can be found in this PDF https://www.thenaf.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/NAF-Rules-fo r-Tournaments-2024.pdf

The tournament will follow a Swiss structure and is a resurrection tournament - your team is fully healed between games and players do not gain experience.

Players will receive 3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss and -10 for conceding.

Coaches will be given 1.2M to build their teams including all inducements from the 2020 rulebook and Deathzone with the exception of Freebooters, Mercs and Special Play Cards. Players will be provided the following skill package from which in to skill their teams:

Tier 1 - 7 primary skill points

Tier 2 - 7 primary skill points and 1 secondary skill point

Tier 3 - 7 primary skill points and 2 secondary skill points Secondary skill points may be used for primary skills.

Skill stacking is permitted up to a maximum of 2 skills per player. All 2020 teams plus Slann are permitted including any new releases.

The tiers used are the tiers in the BRB + FAQ and Teams of Legend PDF.

Up to 2 star players can be taken by any team once the minimum of 11 regular rostered players has been met.

Hiring a star player will cost a primary skill in addition to their hiring fee.

The following star players will cost a primary skill in addition to the base star player hiring cost listed above - Bomber Dribblesnot, Cindy Piewhistle, Estelle La Veneaux, Varag Ghoulchewer and Kreek Rustgouger.

The following star players cost a secondary skill in addition to the base star player hiring cost listed above. Also, these players refuse to share the spotlight and so will not play alongside any other star player - Morg'n'Thorg, Deeproot Strongbranch, Hakflem Skuttlespike, Skitter Stab-Stab and Griff Oberwald.

Examples:

Hiring Akhorne the squirrel costs 80K TV and 1 primary skill total. Hiring Bomber Dribblesnot costs 50K TV and 2 primary skills total. Hiring Akhorne the squirrel and Mighty Zug costs 300k TV and 2 primary skills total.

Hiring Bomber Dribblesnot and Akhorne the squirrel will cost 130k TV and 3 primary skills total.

Hiring Deeproot Strongbranch costs 280k TV, 1 primary skill and 1 secondary skill total.

It is not possible to hire both Deeproot Strongbranch and any other star player.
